Please give us a brief bio of yourself. How, and when, did you discover your passion?

Character Designer – Creator Born in Miami, Florida to a Military family, I grew up drawing my whole life. From an early childhood of playing sports, I always had a love and appreciation for animation, which inspired me to pursue that degree. I went from being a homeless, hurricane Katrina victim, to graduating top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. Now residing in Atlanta, GA, I plan to create compelling characters that drive the story, which is why I created the cartoon Team Supreme.

It’s about a group of pint-sized kids who all have a disability, but they also have amazing super powers as well. I wanted to create something so “Outside of the Box”, and close to home because I was tired of seeing the same type of cartoon. I have been featured in several magazines, and on major media sites like A plus, OZY, and Attn:, which this specific feature went viral with 6.5 million views. Now, I have created character designs for Nickelodeon, Netflix, Drake, BearBack Back Scratcher, DymeLyfe, Black Skullz, and more. He is currently at Netflix Animation.

I discovered my passion for Art as a young child. My older brother, who just passed in August, taught me how to draw Garfield when I was in kindergarten. I never stopped drawing since.

Do you have coffee, caffeine or a routine before “Entering The Matrix” and start to fire on all cylinders?

To answer that question, I just jump into beast mode. Depending on how I’m feeling that day, will determine what I’m capable of. Certain days I draw, I can draw anything. Some days I need to step away from my work. Lol.

As a kid, who was your biggest motivator?

My Father.

If you could choose one artist, living or deceased, who inspired your artistic style the most?

There are so many dope artists out there, but Mel Milton is a huge inspiration for me.

If you were not in the creative field you are in today, what would be your chosen profession?

I love the medical field, so probably a career that involves differently abled people/kids.

Shameless Plug: Are you working on anything you’re proud of and would like to share?

I am working on a few projects at the moment, and I’m not only proud of, I’m also very grateful for the opportunity. I’m still with Netflix, and Nickelodeon when they need me, but I’m also working on 2 more projects, on top of my own, Team Supreme. That’s the one I’m most proud of.

Any inspirational words of wisdom?

Never give up on your passion. I still work a 9-5, but I also work in the industry that I love. Stay humble, stay hungry, and motivated. It may not be your time just yet, so keep going.
